Opening Day Parade

West Garden Grove had their annual Opening Day Ceremonies Parade for the local baseball & softball league. Shane is no longer playing baseball, but Scott was asked to drive our orange buggy in the parade. He drove the Principle of one of our Elementary Schools. He had a good time.

Kylee's Horse Lessons ~ week 2 & 3

Week 2 ~ Kylee brushes, picks the hooves and tacs the horse Luke (a horse this time, not a pony). Then she walks and rides Luke. She had so much fun.

Week 3 ~ Same stuff, but this time she gets to ride "Freckles" using reigns. She looks so cute in her cowgirl gear. She is wearing some boots I had bought years ago and never wear - they are perfect for her.

Kylee started a horse class today where she gets to learn how to care for the horses, and ride them (starting next week). It's a 4 week class, basically for beginners that gives them all the basics of horses/ponies. She is soooo excited! She loved it today, loves to learn about taking care of the ponies and just being around them. It's a great class.
