Willie's 40th ~ Avi!

August 28 - 30th ~ Avi River Trip in Laughlin

We went to the Avi to celebrate our good friend Willie's 40th Birthday! Willie's family and friends came together for an amazing weekend. We hung out at the beach and on the river all day, swam Friday night, of course had some gambling time and celebrated with a great 40th Birthday Party on Saturday night! The Dupleich's really know how to celebrate. It was just a perfect weekend and one we won't forget. Thanks for a great time Jill & Willie - pow pow ppp pow!!

Kylee gets to see the Police Horses!

We were at soccer practice when I got a call from Scott that the police horses were in the back of the fire station, getting ready to go to the concert in the park. I left right away and took Kylee to go see them (we only had a few minutes to stop by). She was so excited, she couldn't believe she got to see the police horses and sit on them! The police officers were awesome and so kind to give Kylee this opportunity. She couldn't stop talking about it - what a fun experience for her!!

Judy's Birthday

We celebrated Judy's Birthday at my dad's house with the family. Then, the kids & I (Jen) joined Judy and girls at Disneyland the night of her actual Birthday. We just got our annual passes again after a year and a half break.

Swimming at the Lawrence Welk Resort

I went on a little day trip to our condo, the Lawrence Welk Resort in Escondido, with the kids and friends Alyssa, Alex & Ryan. They just opened up a new area and have a beautiful pool & recreation area. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the pool.

Crystal's husband Tim is home from Iraq!!! Welcome home Tim, we all missed you so much. So glad you are back home, safe & sound!

Kylee was so excited to watch our friends dogs while they were on vacation, she just loves animals. She wanted to walk Storm with their dogs, Rocky & Lala, all together. She did a great job!

Jen & her sister Judy (with the kids) met up with cousin Jim who has McKenzie (cousin Kim's daughter) visiting California from Wyoming. McKenzie had a blast in the ocean ~ she body boarded and got a little surfing lesson from her Unlce Jim! The traffic was horrible getting to Oceanside, and it was a very busy day at the beach, but well worth it to be with the family! Glad we were able to spend a few hours with you McKenzie!

Croxen Family Breakfast ~ Knott's

We enjoyed a family breakfast this morning with the Croxen clan at the Knott's Berry Farm Chicken Dinner Restaurant. It was yummy and filled us up! Being with the family is always the best part of our family dinners (or breakfast in this case). We usually just have adults, but this time the kids joined us. Emily (Nikki's oldest) wasn't there as she was heading back from her first church camp. We missed you Emmie! Thanks Dad & Janet for a wonderful time, we love you!
