Pool fun with the Ramirez clan~

The kids had a blast swimming at Jen & Mike's house. Especially after Mike got in the pool and started throwing the kids all around. They loved it. We had fun, and it was very nice to cool off - thanks for a fun afternoon Jen & Mike!

R Ranch & Lake Isabella~

Vacation at R Ranch in the Sequoia's ~ July 21st - 25th

We went on our annual vacation to the Ranch with Scott's parents. We went on 2 different day trips to Lake Isabella and had a blast on the jet ski's & riding in the buggy! We also had fun hanging out at the Ranch and swimming in the pool. Shane had too much fun jumping in and asking me to keep taking pictures of him, he is so funny!

We also went to Johnny McNally's for dinner, as we do every year, and we took our annual picture on the bridge above the Kern, behind the restaurant. It was a great steak dinner.

Crystal drove up Friday night and hung out with us for the evening, she got to swim, have dinner & play Bingo with us. So glad she was able to come up, even for a short time.

Wedding Day ~ Really??

My niece Mattie, had a wedding for her American Girl doll Samantha & Woody (from Toy Story). She had this day planned out with every detail - ceremony with pastor, bridesmaid & best man, photographer, kiss, first dance, toast, cake, and even a "Just Married" vehicle waiting. She is so creative and I think my sister is amazing for letting Mattie her be so creative. This is one day we will never forget. And, when Mattie gets older, she will really understand how amazing this was and what a great family and friends she has to let her have this special, crazy experience! We love you Mattie and all your imagination!

We got to hang out with my College friend Lisa & her kids. I haven't seen her in so many years, and it was great to catch up and hang out. Lisa & I used to cheer together at Long Beach City College, fun times. We had a great afternoon!

Kylee's Last Day in Wyoming

Kylee's last day in Wyoming, and chores still had to be done. She got to help feed the cows and get one last picture with Loren by the hay. She had so much fun with my cousin Kim, Walt, Loren & Jake. She even came home wearing Wrangler jeans, a Wyoming t-shirt & a little bling on her belt! She definitely had some "Kim"fluence in Wyoming!!

4th of July~

Shane & Mom celebrated 4th of July together - Kylee was in Wyoming & Dad was working. We rode in the annual neighborhood bike parade. This thing has hundreds of people riding, it is pretty cool!

Kylee in Wyoming

We left IL on Tuesday to head home, but with one less family member. Kylee was lucky enough to get to go to Wyoming with my cousin Kim and her family - Walt, Loren & Jake. They left really early on Tuesday morning, and finally arrived at Kim's house late that night after a 15 hour drive!

Kylee has been enjoying their 40 acres in Wyoming and loving all of the animals. Kim's daughter Loren takes riding lessons and Kylee was able to watch, and help out too. She is having a blast with Loren & Jake. We miss her so much, but know this this a great experience that she will never forget. Thanks Kim & Walt - we appreciate you having Ky! We can't wait to see you back home Kylee, we love you!!
