Our BIG MOVE!

Well, the time is finally here for our big move! It was a very hectic time leading up to the move, and now it's Memorial Weekend, and time to make the change.

Front of the New House
Backyard View...
(far left corner are 2 horse stalls for Kylee to have a horse one day,
not in the near future though - maybe sometime next year)
After moving boxes and working hard all day, Scott threw Shane in the pool in his clothes, and Kylee was eager to jump in her clothes right after him! They had a blast! And having the pool really helped tire them out, so they slept great the first nights in the new house!
Our first horse visitor....Bri (part of the Pony Club) rode Maile over our 2nd day in the house. Kylee asked Bri to come over and swim, but only if she brought her horse....so cool!
Kylee taking care of Maile in our backyard....
yes, there is a horse in our backyard - Crazy!!
Boxes to unpack in the kitchen....
Boxes to unpack in Shane's room -
but you can see he has set up his "army" in the bay window. Priorities.....
More boxes to unpack in the office....
it's so hard for me to live in the chaos of all this unpacking.
Our tortoise Franklin checking out the pool, thank goodness he did not go in!
He, and our dog Storm, are both loving the new house and the huge backyard!!

Kylee's First Rally

Kylee got to go to her first Mega Rally with the Pony Club. They worked together as a team for this 2-day event - 5 girls total. Kylee was the Stable Manager, and basically helped out the other girls to be sure they had help getting their horses ready, their stalls in order, and be the go-to girl for the team. The other girls rode in the event. They were judged on their riding, but also on the maintenance of their stalls and the teams area. Her team, the Royal Riders, took 1st Place for the event - a first at this specific rally! Kylee was really excited and proud to be a part of the team, and she even came home with the ribbon below (her first ribbon ever for a horse event!).
