Kylee's Lessons with all her new "stuff"

This is Kylee's first horse lesson after Christmas. She got lots of new horse supplies to use! This included her cute new shirt, camo halter (that matches her helmet), custom made bucket with grooming brushes, comb, hoof pick, horse treats and lead ropes. She was so excited to use all of her new stuff.

Christmas Celebration with the Kuhlman's & Hafdell's

We had our annual Kuhlman/Hafdell (Scott's dad's side of the family) Christmas party. This is the only time of year we see most of this family, so it is always a great time and fun catching up with everyone. This year was no exception. Kylee loved talking to Aunt Sheila and Uncle Pat about their horses! All the kids (especially the teenagers) are getting so grown up ~ great kids! What a fun night together.

We celebrated Christmas day with Scott's family at Crystal & Tim's house. The dogs all got to celebrate and hang out too! They were so cute, they even got to open gifts :)

Celebrating Christmas with Jen's family on December 23rd. It was a fun evening with the family, but we missed Scott (he was at work).

Santa Visits the Fire Station!

The guys at the Fire Department put on a great event at the Fire Station. There was great food and it was so nice to hang out with the fire families! Santa even came to visit and brought presents to all the kids. It was so much fun.

Kylee sings with the KidZone Worship Team

Kylee sang in the church KidZone Worship Team this season. They sang a fun song during the 12/12 weekend services. Then, they got to lead the worship during our Family Christmas Eve Service held on Saturday, December 19th. She had a fun time with this performance, and did a great job!

Gingerbread Train~

The kids built a gingerbread train this year - it was a lot of fun. When we were deciding between a gingerbread house or a train, Shane wanted the house. Kylee wanted the train because we have done the house in the past. Once Shane realized they were both made of gingerbread, he didn't care which one - he just wanted to eat the candy! And, he has enjoyed eating it so far!!

Riding in Ocotillo Wells

Off to Ocotillo Wells to go camping for the weekend ~ Dec 4th-6th. We spent the weekend with the Ramirez clan ~ Jen, Mike, Alexa, Cristina & Olivia ~ and Shane was able to bring his buddy Bladen too. We all had a blast! When we got there on Friday, Kylee just wanted to get on the quad and rode all evening long. The next day, all the kids rode. Bladen had not been riding before and he absolutely loved it. Scott brought a rocket that we got to shoot off and the kids thought it was really cool! Jen is really liking the quads too - she got her gear finally for this trip and had so much fun riding.

It was a really great weekend spending time with the family and friends!

Kylee's Winter Concert ~ School Chorus

The 5th & 6th Graders performed for the school's annual winter concert. Kylee had a lot of fun with this group, they do such an awesome job and they sound so good! We had a blast watching her.
