Jen & Kylee Visit Family in Illinois ~

Kylee & I went out to Illinois in March (just the girls, we left the boys at home, hehe). I wanted to go out to visit family, but also wanted to look through some old pics of the family and of my mom. So, we packed my scanner and laptop, and headed out to Illinois! I had so much fun sitting with my Grandma, looking through pictures, and hearing stories about her and Grandpa, my mom, and all the family. It was a very special time for me, and Grandma really enjoyed it too. My cousin Missy took Kylee most of the weekend, and she really spoiled her! Kylee loved her dog Snowcone, and had a blast hanging out with Missy all weekend. It was cold for this California girl (not freezing though), and we spent most of our time indoors, going out to eat, and scanning, scanning, scanning pictures. I got lucky and was there while my Aunt Amanda came for a visit, and also got to see my cousin Katie with her girls as they were passing through. It was a very nice weekend.

Disneyland with Tim & Crystal ~

We went to Disneyland with Scott's sister Crystal & her husband Tim. They have not been in years, so it was a lot of fun!! Crystal is pregnant and did not get to ride much, but we still had a blast and so glad she was there. Here are some fun pics - they loved Autopia and the Rocket pics turned out pretty cool. It was a fun day, and we look forward to more trips to Disneyland together in the years to come with Baby Gavin when he arrives!

We had so much fun just hanging out together, but the best was playing Kylee's new Wii game, Just Dance. The adults joined in too, such a blast! The kids love it. Another fun time with family, I am so blessed to have such an awesome family!!

Happy 11th Birthday Kylee!

Kylee's Birthday Present was a trail ride in Norco! There are no trail guides, and they let you go out on your own....so, we invited Kylee's trainer Cami to join us along with one of her riding friends Ashley, and Janet joined us too. Cami made me feel much more comfortable! It was a rainy day, and it did sprinkle on us at the very beginning, but the sun came out and we had a beautiful ride (then it started raining again later on-whew, we made the ride). We had so much fun. I even trotted on my horse (BIG step for me), and it was actually a lot of fun. Happy 11th Birthday Kylee, we love you!!!

Kylee's actual Birthday (March 3rd) fell on a Wednesday, her riding lesson day, she was so happy! She asked Cami if she could have her first English riding lesson on her Birthday.....here are a few pictures of her riding Jimmy, she really enjoyed it!
