Carlsbad

Our last camping trip of the summer - August 24th through the 27th. We went with Jen's sisters and their families. Judy had different friends come down throughout the weekend as well. We celebrated Judy's 40th Birthday (Aug 27th) during the weekend trip! Jen's dad and Janet came out on Monday to help celebrate, as well as cousins Jim, Marie and their baby girl Sophie.

The kids spent hours every day down at the beach - riding in the raft, boogie boards, learned how to surf, and just jumping the waves. The kids also had a lot of fun in the sand - making sand castles and burying each other. They climbed the rocks behind us and went on little adventure walks.

Up at camp, we biked and skateboarded, hung out at campfire and had lots of yummy food. It was great to hear the sound of the waves all night long - it was so relaxing. Another great camping trip - thanks Judy & Nikki for organizing it!
